Here's my most recient painting! It has taken me entirely too long, but it's finished (almost). When we were children we used to stay in beach cabins along the Oregon coast. I miss it so much.

1. the distribution of light and shade in a picture This a place to journal my stories, thoughts and sketches. It may often touch on my struggle to bring significance to the intense dichotomy of sorrow and joy, light and darkness, that we encounter in this life.

Wow. It's only on the computer, I'd have to see it real, but I really like the texture of the lamplight, the mist, and the waterfall. I also like the way you wrap the fantasy images around to the foreground in the lower right corner. Very imaginative, I'm impressed. So, besides the Bible, what are the books on the shelf?
